Click to expand They give you the new OS and Logic for free. Great when your hardware is compatible but one cannot even get Logic 9 anymore for those of us stuck back at OS Apple Logic Pro 9. I use logic every day and I had not noticed this change. I thought it was still logic pro x. I’ll try it. Can’t DL that version because I do not own Logic 9 and that is just an upgrade. AFAIK 9 is gone from purchase ability. Free shipping for many products!

Welcome to Apple Support Community. I don’t know. I should have just saved up for the real deal. Now I know better. Yes, he will will give you the runaround as he is lying. If he bought it from apple he would have to have bought it with his or a Apple ID, either way this wouldn’t be your Apple ID.

Once software is bought from the app store it is linked to that and only that Apple ID. It cannot be transferred. Either that or from a torrent site. I hope you didn’t pay too much for it and perhaps you could post the guys eBay address? If you paid through PayPal you may have some protection.

By coming here you have somewhat proved you have made an honest mistake and have been conned by a not very nice person. Even more reason to post their eBay name so that others might avoid them. You can hide a virus in the header data of a JPEG. So it is a possibility. My guess is that the eBay seller is just out to make as many sales as possible before enough complaints come in to shut them down. Forgot how heavy they were with the manuals. I’ll hhave to look to see if I have the manual for 3 knocking around.

In all fairness, there are still aspects of Logic that I feel need fixing, such as comprehensive plug-in delay compensation, in-place track bouncing, perhaps sample-accurate Arrange page lobic and support for multiple diwnload interfaces, and many would argue that the visual side of the program is getting a bit gloomy and hard to read.
